As a child growing up in Rome, Wisconsin, Wade Van Valin’s interest in architecture was sparked at an early age. He had seen local buildings designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and his contemporaries. Working for a stonemason of Wright’s as a teen, he was given a unique perspective into what most have only read about.

At the University of Minnesota, Wade studied under leaders in the early modern architectural movement. Selected as a young professional to join a small international group of architects to work on the design of pavilions for the World Expo in Brisbane, Australia he was able to bring his concepts to a larger audience. Continually recognized for his passion for the details, workmanship and a uniquely modern view, Wade’s design is driven today by those same ideals.

Currently Wade resides in Northern California in the home he designed and built.
